Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Mas
A quiet and unpretentious site, Le Mas is situated at the top of the hill above the Beune valley, in the popular Périgord Noir region with its many castles, grottoes and tourist towns. There are tantalising glimpses over the surrounding countryside from the site, which has around 150 pitches in total. These are mainly occupied by mobile homes, chalets and fully equipped tents for hire, leaving around 20 touring pitches. The individual hedged and grassy pitches have good shade from mature trees and all have electric hook-ups (6A).
Facilities at Camping le Mas
Two functional unisex sanitary blocks, one slightly more modern than the other, include British and squat style WCs and washbasins in cubicles. Laundry facilities. Bar, restaurant, snack bar and takeaway. Outdoor swimming pools, slides and paddling pool. All facilities fully open 15/5-15/9. Tennis. Pétanque. Woodland fitness circuit. Regular programme of activities for children throughout the season. WiFi (charged).
Directions to Camping le Mas
From D47 between Sarlat and Les Eyzies, turn on to C2 towards Sireuil village. Turn right after 2 km. (site well signed here), to site in 500 m. on the right.
