Camping La Vallée de Poupet is located in Saint-Malô-du-Bois, Vendée, France. The campsite is located in a quiet and peaceful area, next to the river La Sèvre Nantaise and is close to all the main attractions of the Vendée. The nearest beach is just a 15-minute drive away, and there are also a number of other popular tourist destinations nearby, such as the Puy du Fou theme park, the Marais Poitevin nature reserve, and the town of La Rochelle.
On-site, there are 95 touring pitches, of which electric hookup points are available. Pitches are spacious and set within tree-lined areas of grass that are very well looked after. The most attractive sports are, of course, located right by the river, which has great views of the river. Children have plenty of space to play at La Vallée de Poupet and will often be found by the river, at the playground or in the swimming pool. During the summer months, various activities are also held for children, which include kayaking lessons, Archery and field games.
The must-do for any visitor to the area is the world-renowned Puy du Fou theme park. This unique theme park celebrates history through live shows, reenactments, and historical villages. You'll be transported back in time to experience Roman gladiators, Viking sagas, and jousting knights. If you're interested in art and history, then a visit to Vendée Vitrail is a must. This stained glass workshop is located in Mortagne-sur-Sèvre and offers tours and demonstrations.
