Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Quercia
La Quercia is a spacious, popular site on a slight slope leading down to Lake Garda and is decorated by palm trees and elegantly trimmed hedges. Accommodating up to 850 touring units, pitches are mostly in regular double rows between access roads, all with 6A electricity. Most are shaded by mature trees, although those furthest from the lake are more open to the sun. Much of the activity centres around the impressive pool complex with its fantastic slides and the terrace bar, restaurant and pizzeria which overlook the entertainment stage.
The daytime activities and evening entertainment are very professional with the young team working hard to involve everyone (some courses require enrolment on a Sunday). La Quercia has a fine sandy beach on the lake, with diving jetties and a roped off section for launching boats or windsurfing (high season). A second restaurant serving traditional Italian food is located closer to the beach. The site is a short distance from the delightful lakeside towns of Lazise and Peschiera, which have a wide choice of restaurants, and is a short drive from Verona, one of Italy’s finest cultural centres.

Lazise is on the southeast side of Lake Garda 30 km. west of Verona. From north on A22 (Trento-Verona) take Affi exit then follow signs for Lazise and site.
