Campsite La Pourvoirie des Ellandes is located on the shores of Lake Geneva, in the town of Excenevex, in Haute-Savoie. This one hectare site with 34 rental pitches is located less than a 10 minute walk from the lakes Plage d'Excenevex, the only natural sandy beach in the Haute-Savoie department’s UNESCO-registered Chablais Geopark.
There’s space for the kids to play badminton and volleyball on the grass, with table tennis and table football also available. Over at the beach you can find activities like sailing, pedal boating, kitesurfing and rafting. Towards the mountain to the south, it’s all about the hiking trails, paragliding trips and marked climbing routes. For gentler activities, bikes are available to rent back on campsite – ask staff for a map of the local cycling routes.
The campsite likes to keep environmentally friendly and the team want to keep it this way, so they've set up recycling and composting facilities on site. Barbecues and picnic tables are dotted around the grounds for alfresco mealtimes and a supermarket’s a short stroll down the road.
located 20 minutes from Geneva in Switzerland, 10 km from Thonon les Bains and 15 km from Evian les Bains the town of town of Excenevex is bordering with the medieval village of Yvoire and close to the ski resorts such as: Morzine-Avoriaz, Les Gets and Chatel. On jaunts by car around the shores, stop by spa villages like Evian-les-Bains (25 minutes’ drive) and Thonon-les-Bains (20 minutes) for top-notch views out over the water.
