Camping La Plage is located in Saint-André-de-Roquepertuis on the banks of the Céze River, between the departments of Ardèche and Gard Provençal. It is ideal for nature lovers who want to discover the richness of the beautiful region. The campsite is located in a wild, preserved and classified nature reserve NATURA 2000, a network of European nature sites recognised for their exceptional flora and fauna. The campsite itself is a calm and family-friendly site with 80 touring pitches to choose from with electric hook-up points available (10Amp). Pitches are spacious and flat and are separated and shaded by mature trees. 35 pitches are located right on the river, perfect for swimming and perfect for fishing enthusiasts as the waters are filled with trout. If you would like a riverside pitch you would need to specify when booking.
The site's highlight is, of course, its location by the river. The campsite has a large private beach by the river, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the summer sun. Children can paddle in complete safety, while adults can swim further along the river for deeper waters. During the summer, the campsite offers kayak and canoe rental so you can explore the river at your own leisurely pace. Take advantage of the campsite restaurant and bar and enjoy a drink with fellow campmates, or sit down on the terrace and enjoy a homemade meal in the evening. During high season, live music is played here once a week.
