Whether you're heading south or a traveller making your way north, Camping La Petite Forêt is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a scenic base to explore northern France’s beautiful coastlines, countryside, and vibrant cities. Situated in the tranquil Pas-de-Calais region, this campsite is just an hour from Calais, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Dunkirk, and Lille and under 10 minutes from the picturesque riverside town of Aire-sur-la-Lys. Additionally, the beautiful Caps Et Marais D'Opale Natural Regional Park is just 25 minutes away to the northwest, offering numerous walking trails, beach days, wildlife watching, and exploration of the expansive Clairmarais forest. On-site, 15 touring pitches with 16-amp electric hook-up points are available. Pitches are separated by mature hedging, giving privacy to each pitch whilst staying here. 

If your plans include taking a break from the car, you’ll be pleased to know that several hiking paths start from Aire-sur-la-Lys, which is only 3.5 kilometres away and accessible by foot or bike along the D187 and Rue de Constantinople. Alternatively, you can cycle into town and, if you're feeling adventurous, continue on a 15 to 20-kilometer ride to Arques or Saint-Omer within the Caps Et Marais D’Opale Natural Regional Park for more sightseeing and a well-deserved hearty lunch.

If that sounds too strenuous, consider exploring the colourful grounds of Camping La Petite Forêt instead, perhaps with a lovely picnic made from items picked up at the nearby supermarket.
