Camping La Clé Des Champs is a family-friendly campsite in Luçon, Vendée, France. It is situated in a peaceful setting close to the Marais Poitevin, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Camping La Clé Des Champs is located just 2km from the town of Luçon and is a short drive from the beaches of the Vendée coast. There is also a train station in Luçon with regular connections to Nantes and La Rochelle. On-site, you will find 23 touring pitches with electric hook-up points available. The pitches are level and very large, and you can choose some shaded pitches and some in the sun. It is very quiet, well-maintained, and run by friendly owners who are very caring.
This campsite has all the basic amenities needed to enjoy a comfortable stay here. During high season, the campsite offers a daily bread delivery service at the campsite shop, where you can also find local produce, coffee, tea, and ice cream. Should you want to spend a day on the campsite, there is a playground where the younger campers can enjoy themselves. There is also a petanque court games room with table football and billiards. You can also say hello to the campsite donkeys, who always love a bit of fuss and attention.
The Marais Poitevin, also known as the Green Venice, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This wetland area is best explored by boat. You can take a guided tour or rent your own boat.
