This site is ideally situated for a beach holiday, with easy access across the road to a lovely, long sandy beach. Ostia is just 3 km away, and as a change of scene, Rome is only an hour's journey with the Colosseum, Vatican City, Piazza Venezia, and much more, making it a day to remember. Take the bus or train for convenience.

There are a total of 350 pitches, 150 of which are for touring, interspersed on undulating ground among mature trees. Although they offer plenty of shade, there are many low-hanging branches, and, as a result, some pitches are small and inappropriate for larger units. However, tents and smaller units can tuck themselves away in interesting nooks and crannies. The soil is sandy, but the access roads are mostly tarmac and gravel. Most of the pitches have 3A electricity. An access road to the beach provides an area for larger units to park.

The amenities are grouped together and include a bar, a very popular restaurant, a small play area and a well stocked shop that also sells camping equipment and local souvenirs. Staff are most helpful and will provide information about public transport and local attractions. This is a friendly, relaxed place with few rules and regulations.

Well stocked shop (Apr-Oct). Bar/restaurant (Feb-Oct) with terrace. Live music (high season). Outdoor pool (June-Sept). Playground. Games area. Entertainment for children twice a week (July/Aug). Internet access and information in reception. Communal barbecue area.

Directions to Camping Internazionale Castelfusano

Site is southwest of Rome. From GRA exit 26 or 27 (depending on direction) onto Via Cristoforo Colombo towards Flumicino. Continue on this road to end (beach). Keeping in left lane, follow road to right then immediately left and left again in 100 m. Turn right in 150 m. and site is 1.5 km. on right.
