In scenic surroundings, this site is only 200 m. from Lake Aiguebelette, the third largest natural lake in France. The 165 pitches (140 for touring units) all have 6/10A electricity and are set amongst many mature trees and well manicured hedges, giving plenty of shade and privacy. Most pitches are level, but some are on a steep hillside and therefore sloping. There are adequate water points around the site and there are 30 serviced pitches available. This is a very peaceful, quality site with good views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. The owner, Philippe Kremer, is very friendly and speaks excellent English.

The restaurant and shop, open during the high season, are in a converted barn just outside the main entrance. The patio has terrific views across the lake. A traditional wood oven is used for pancakes and pizzas or there is a good choice of speciality Savoyard dishes. The lake offers many types of watersports but to maintain the purity of the water, motorboats are not allowed. The beach is free for campsite users and lifeguards are present in July and August (dogs are not permitted). Walks with llamas and paragliding are organised from reception.

Two identical sanitary blocks provide excellent facilities, washbasins in cabins, controllable showers, baby bath, 2 shower units with en-suite washbasin. Good accessible facilities. Separate laundry. Freezer. Shop (1/7-21/8). Bar and restaurant (open to public, just outside main gate). Small play area. Miniclub. TV room. Bicycle hire. Chalets to rent. Wifi.

From A43 Chambéry-Lyon motorway, take exit 12 and D921 south towards Lac d’Aiguebelette. Follow signs to Plage du Sougey. Site is on the left just before the beach.
