This wooded site is set on very steep slopes close to the Genoa motorways and is east of the city. It has very limited facilities but runs a free bus service to connect with local transport for visiting Genoa. If you are extremely fit, a set of steep stairs (125 m. elevation) will take you there in 15 minutes. The approach from the main road twists and climbs steeply with a tight final turn at the site entrance. There are 54 pitches for tents and mobile units with electricity (3/6A) available to the vehicle pitches.

The restaurant/bar with terrace commands fine views over the sea and offers a simple menu, which changes daily. The Buteros, who own the site, both speak good English and are very enthusiastic and anxious to ensure you enjoy your stay. This is a site to be used for exploring Genova and Riviera di Levante, rather than for extended stays. It is the only site in the area.

Two dated sanitary blocks provide free hot showers and en-suite cabins (WC, washbasin and shower). Washing machine. Basic motorhome services. Shop providing essentials. Bar/restaurant and takeaway (all open Easter-30/9). Towing vehicle available. Gas supplies. Free WiFi in reception/bar area. Free bus shuttle to local town. Scooters for hire.

Directions to Camping Genova Est

From autostrada A10 take Nervi exit and turn towards La Spezia on the SS1. In Bogliasco look for a very sharp left turn with a large sign for the site. Follow narrow winding road for 2 km. to site.
