Camping Lac de Miel is in the heart of the Dordogne on the shores of a relaxing lake, an ideal location for a water based camping holiday. The 61 part-shady or sunny pitches are 120 to 150sq.m, with electricity (6A), and have direct access to the sandy beach of the lake. There are also rentals available on site from bungalow tents to mobile homes and gypsy caravans. The site is well maintained and clean. There are many water sports available for the whole family including paddle boarding, canoeing, diving and row boating as well as fishing. There is also a covered pool with a sliding roof and toddler’s pool. A snack bar and pizzeria operate in peak season.

In peak season there is a full activities schedule for children with daily activities and evening events to include all the family. There is a children’s playground, a beach volleyball court and mountain bike rental available. There shouldn’t be a shortage of things to keep the kids entertained!

Take the N120 as far as Tulle, then N940 direction Beaulieu/Figeac to Beynat. The campsite is signposted. Or take the A20 as far as Brive, D921 direction Argentat.
