This site is set in the heart of the Jura, just 5 km from the serene Lac de Chalain. It's charming countryside, with the wooded slopes rising up from the slow-moving River Ain and the Swiss border not far away. The photogenic waterfalls, Cascades du Hérisson, are 15 km away and stretch for 3 km, and there are countless cycling and hiking trails to follow through the sublime scenery. The winding country lanes link picturesque villages like Baume-Les-Messieurs, one of France's 'most beautiful villages' with its famous caves. The town of Lons-le-Saunier is just 20 minutes away.

This family-friendly site has mostly grassy pitches, some slightly sloping, with around 130 for touring units. These are arranged on terraces and separated by hedges, bushes and trees, about half being shaded. Nearly all have electricity hook-ups, although some long leads are needed. Ten pitches have hard standing.

Directions to Camping Domaine de l’Epinette

From Lons-le-Saunier take D471 eastwards towards Pontarlier-Genève. After 8 km. fork right onto D39 towards Vevy. After 11 km. at Chatillon turn right onto D151 south towards Blye. Site is less than 2 km. on the left.
