Camping De Weyde Blick comprises two camping areas divided by a hedge, giving the site a rural feel. The area behind reception is mainly for mobile homes, the other terrain is reserved for touring units. There are ten touring pitches with 4/6A electricity and water. They are off a long, paved access road in two groups of five units. The site is fairly open, although some shade is provided by tall bushes. Large units cannot access this site due to the narrow access to the camping field.

The site is attractively landscaped with flowers and shrubs. There is an open-air pool (10x5 m) with a small slide and paddling pool. The site is in Gaasterland, a part of Friesland where watersports, walking and cycling are all popular.

Facilities at Camping De Weyde Blick

One sanitary block on the touring field has washbasins (both open style and in cabins; cold water only) and controllable hot showers (charged). Children’s WC. Baby room. Hot water to dishwashing sinks (charged). Laundry. Open-air pool (10x5 m) with paddling pool. Playground. B&B is offered, and lodges and safari tents are available to rent.

Directions to Camping De Weyde Blick

From the A6, take exit 17 for Lemmer and continue west on N359 road. Turn south towards Bakhuizen and from there towards Warns and follow site signs.
