This very well maintained, pleasant site is just 1.5 km. from exit 27 of the A6 ‘Autoroute du Soleil’. It is, therefore, an ideal stop en route to and from the south of France, and reservation may be necessary for the high season. The site is 200 metres from the River Saône and 1 km. from the centre of the interesting old market town of Tournus.

All the 90 pitches are for touring and are equipped with 10A electricity and 27 have hardstanding. A few trees give some pitches varying amounts of shade. Access is very easy for large units. A municipal outdoor swimming pool is adjacent to the site and open for the high season. The surrounding area is well worth exploring with its beautiful scenery and many picturesque old towns and villages.

Besides the beautiful town of Tournus, many places of interest will demonstrate the charm of this unknown part of Burgundy: The Rock of Solutré, Cluny, Brancion, Cormatin, The Caves of Azé and Blanot, the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise and Mâconnais.

Facilities at Camping de Tournus

Two clean toilet blocks near the entrance provide all necessary facilities, including accessible facilities, Motorhome services. Small bar and shop in the reception area where bread can be ordered daily and light snacks purchased. Small play area. Bicycle hire. WiFi near the bar (free).

Directions to Camping de Tournus

From the A6 take exit 27 for Tournus and the N6 south for just over 1 km. In Tournus (opposite railway station), turn left signed camping and follow signs to site, 1 km.
