Alan Rogers Review of Camping de la Piscine
There are many campsites in this area but la Piscine is notable for the care and attention to detail that contribute to the wellbeing of its visitors. Created by the Caradec family from an apple orchard, the 199 level, grass pitches are of a generous size and are separated by an interesting variety of hedges and trees. Water, drainage and electricity points (10A) are provided, normally one stand between two pitches. Several mobile homes are also available for hire. The small bar and takeaway with terrace overlooking the pool complex provides a relaxing focal point. A quiet site, set back from the sea, la Piscine will appeal to families looking for good quality without too many on-site activities.
The nearby towns of Beg-Meil and Fouesnant, and (a little further) Quimper, are well worth a visit if only to taste the local cider and crêpes which are specialities of the area.

Two refurbished toilet units include washbasins in cabins and showers. Accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Shop (15/6-11/9). Bar and takeaway (4/7-30/8). Pool complex with three slides, waterfall and jacuzzi. Covered, heated pool (all season). Wellness centre with jacuzzi, massage, sauna and Turkish bath. Play area. BMX track. Bicycle hire. Half-court tennis. Multisports pitch. TV room. Entertainment organised in high season including kids club. Free WiFi.
Directions to Camping de la Piscine
Site is 5 km. south of Fouesnant. Turn off N165 expressway at Coat Conq signed Concarneau and Fouesnant. At Fouesnant join D45 signed Beg-Meil and shortly turn right on D145 signed Mousterlin. In 1 km. turn left and follow signs to site.
