De Holterberg, family run for 62 years, is located in the Sallandse Heuvelrug nature reserve near the Holterberg hill. The wooded site is open all year with 250 level pitches, all with 6A electricity. A new, impressive reception with a separate bar/restaurant are in traditional, thatched buildings. Children will love the animal park and the new play area with its large equipment. The site has very large woods for walking and is very close to long-distance paths. Solar energy use and a new wood burning system promote its green image.

An impressive Canadian war cemetery is hidden in the woods nearby, and the area is ideal for walking, cycling and riding (pastures available to rent), and cross-country skiing in winter. The village of Holten is 1 km. from the site and provides all the simple shopping you might need. The nearest town is Deventer. In the area surrounding the site there is a choice of high quality restaurants and many leisure facilities.

Directions to Camping De Holterberg

Follow the A1 from Amsterdam-Enschede and take exit for Markelo-Holten Oost. Continue towards Holten and just before village take N350 towards Rijssen. At roundabout site is signed.
