This delightful family-run campsite is in the south of Holland and has been operating since 1956. It’s perfectly situated for exploring not only Holland but Belgium and Germany, too, due to its enviable location just 30 minutes from both. During the main camping season, they offer touring pitches, chalets and glamping tents dotted amongst beautiful fruit trees, and open year-round are the chalets. Their lovely restaurant, which has recently changed managers, serves local specialities and offers a good selection of beer, as well as amazing waffles. It’s a perfect site for active people who come here to hike and bike, as it’s next to a forest and has stunning views due to the surrounding hilly terrain. Older couples and families with young children particularly enjoy Camping De Bosrand, and although it doesn’t have its own swimming pool, there is a tropical pool and spa in the nearby city. There is also an American military cemetery and a golf course nearby.
The location of the site means you can reach Maastricht and Valkenburg in just 15 minutes. In Valkenburg there are famous castle ruins, a cave and two theme/amusement parks for kids. Maastricht is famous for shopping, its caves, a fort, and generally relaxing. Aachen (Germany) has a 14th century city gate, a shopping centre and outlet, a zoo and the Lindt chocolate factory shop.

Pets permitted, BBQs permitted (charcoal and gas) Laundry facilities including washer, dryer and ironing station. Fresh bread available from reception. On-site restaurant serving regional dishes. Small shop. Challets and Safari-style tents available for hire. Childrens play area, but no formal entertaiment programe.

Situated in south Holland, the campsite is easy to find next to the E25/A2. The E25 coming from Belgium turns into A2 (main motorway of Holland).
