Les Couleurs du Monde is a welcoming site in the heart of the Loire Valley. It is close to the River Cher and the small, medieval town of Montrichard, and well placed for exploring some of the region’s best known sights. The 96 touring pitches are of a very good size, grassy and well shaded, most with electrical connections. On-site amenities include a swimming pool, paddling pool and a snack bar/takeaway. A supermarket with ATM is close at hand (50 m). The barrier gates are closed 22.00-07.00. Reservation is essential for July/August.

The site has a good play area with a bouncy castle, go-karts and trampolines, with a small animal petting area. A good-sized, modern swimming pool is close to the reception together with a bar, games room and snack bar. The celebrated château at Chenonceau, spanning the River Cher, is nearby. Amboise is also easily accessible, best known for its fine Royal château and for the Manor of Clos Lucé, the former home of Leonardo da Vinci and now a fascinating museum displaying models of many of his inventions.

The site is situated on south side of River Cher. From A85/E604 leave at exit 11. Follow signs for Montrichard on D976. Site is next to Carrefour market on the Montrichard roundabout.
