Alan Rogers Review of Camping Caravaning Santa Lucia
Camping Santa Lucia is a small, friendly, family run site in a delightful southern Corsican setting. Behind the little reception hut is a simple and attractive restaurant and bar with terraces overlooking the pool. It is very pleasant in the evenings when ornamental lamps light up the area. There are 160 informal pitches, 60 with 6A electrical connections. Some of the pitches are in lovely enclosed bays created from huge boulders or trees and shrubs, making them very private. Most have shade from mature trees. This site is only minutes by car from Porto-Vecchio and with very reasonable prices, will suit many.
Chalets and bungalow tents blend unobtrusively with the site’s setting under the mature trees. Beaches are just 4 km. away and there are many other interesting places to visit in the area. This is a great site for getting away from it all and relaxing and campers who do not like the noise and bustle of the bigger sites, will find this fits the bill. English and German are spoken by the staff.

Two excellent modernised (2015) toilet blocks include British style toilets and smart washbasins in cubicles. Charming bathroom area for children. Washing machines. Accessible facilities. Bread to order. Bar (15/6-15/9). Restaurant and takeaway (July/Aug). Swimming and paddling pools. Play area and high season miniclub for children. Minigolf. Communal barbecues. Satellite TV. WiFi (charged).
