In the heart of the Vendée, with more than 250 kilometres of coastline and many beautiful beaches, you will find Camping Le Cabestan. In the middle of a beautiful cycling area, this is a wonderful place for an active or just a relaxing holiday. On the campsite, you will find a relatively large swimming pool with a sliding roof and nice sunbeds
The campsite has been separated into two areas, one part where you can choose between 40 spacious touring pitches all on grass. If you walk to the area, you'll find the campsite lined with at least ten different types of mobile homes. They vary in luxury, space and size. The sanitary facilities are adequate, somewhat basic, but clean. In the colder months, the sanitary facilities are heated. Children can enjoy the entertainment during high season which includes a crafts club. The playground with trampoline and swings is also very popular. A jeu-de-boules court is a meeting place for the young and old. Themed evenings and karaoke are also organised regularly.
The great advantage of Camping Le Cabestan is its many swimming opportunities. Swim a few lengths in the pool in the morning and take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean in the afternoon. If you want to enjoy a moment to yourself, you can relax on one of the sunbeds around the pool. After a long day exploring the surrounding area, you can go back to the campsite and enjoy a refreshing drink or an ice cream at the campsite bar.
The neighbouring village of Brétignolles-Sur-Mer has charming boutiques and a weekly market with local specialities.
