Le Peyrelevade is a quiet and peaceful site in the Périgord Vert region. Of a very good standard, it comprises 137 spacious and well kept touring pitches and 23 mobile homes to rent. All pitches have 10A electricity and 12 are fully serviced. The site is set in an area that is part open, part wooded and most pitches have partial shade from well sited trees and hedges. The beautiful island town of Brantôme is a short walk away. Its abbey is built into the cliff face and the town is served by five medieval bridges taking you to small bars, restaurants and other amenities. There is a 3.5 tonne weight restriction on the main road through the town.

The River Dronne runs through the rear of the site and adds to its charm. A beach provides opportunities for children to paddle.

Facilities at Camping Brantôme Peyrelevade

Two heated sanitary blocks are well maintained, clean and adequate for the number of pitches. One is new, heated and includes good accessible facilities. Baby area with bath. Laundry with washing machine. Shop (1/6-15/9). Bar. Restaurant and takeaway (July/Aug). Games room with TV. Open-air heated swimming pool. Play area. River beach suitable for paddling. Fishing. WiFi (low speed free). Max. 2 dogs accepted.

Directions to Camping Brantôme Peyrelevade

Take D939 south from Angoulême, or north from Périgueux. Brantôme is 20 km. north of Périgueux. Drive through town and look for sign for site which is 1.5 km. north outside Brantôme. There is a 3.5 tonne weight restriction on the main road through the village.
