Owned and run by the multilingual, Dutch Kox family, this site has 58 level pitches, separated in places by hedges and trees. The pitches are in rows, loosely ringed by bungalows.

Two sizes of pitch are offered: 50 and 80 sq.m. with a sink and tap for every four pitches. Electricity (6A) is available. Large units will experience manoeuvring difficulties and must phone ahead to use an alternative entrance. This is an inexpensive and thus crowded site in the high season.

Following an uninspiring approach through plastic-covered market gardens, the Ligurian Alps make a pleasant backdrop to this closely-packed campsite.

The medium-sized swimming pool and separate paddling pool are popular. The site amenities are grouped together in one building with a very small, combined bar, shop and reception area. A takeaway service from the small menu is offered from 6pm-8pm.

Facilities at Camping Bella Vista

The single modern block is clean with British style toilets. Shower water is solar heated, washbasins have cold water only. Single accessible facility although the unit doubles as a baby room with a washing machine and ironing equipment. Shop (seasonal). Bar. Takeaway with restrictions (seasonal). Swimming pool and separate paddling pool. Limited entertainment in the main season. Play area. Aviary. Free WiFi throughout.

Directions to Camping Bella Vista

Exit at Borghetto San Spirito onto the SS1 (via Aurelia) towards Ceriale. In Ceriale follow blue signs for Peagna and the campsite. Look for the small signs at regular intervals.
