Alan Rogers Review of Camping Aloha Plage
Aloha Plage offers 120 pitches of which 80 are for touring units. There are two entrances to this site, one for the mobile homes and one to the camping area so follow signs to reception and parking. The campsite bar is popular with locals and some of the closer pitches may suffer from high levels of noise from the bar during the day and night. The camping area remains somewhat rundown and the low hanging branches and narrow road access will make this site very difficult for large outfits to manoeuvre. Pitches are uneven so levelling blocks may be required.
This site is located on the banks of the river from which fishing, canoeing and swimming can all be enjoyed.
Facilities at Camping Aloha Plage
Clean sanitary facilities including accessible facilities. Laundry room. Bar, comprehensive snack service including breakfast. Bread ordering service. Outdoor pool and children’s pool. Activity programmes for children (high season). Canoeing, fishing and river swimming. No charcoal barbecues. WiFi throughout.
Directions to Camping Aloha Plage
From Aubenas take D579 towards Ruoms. Follow D579 for 4 km. south of Ruoms and at D161 signed Sampzon, cross river on narrow bridge (traffic lights). Take second turn on left, site is signed from here.
