AZUR Camping Schwäbische Alb is situated in the verdant countryside of the Swabian Alb and within reach of the state capital, Stuttgart. This site may be a good choice for families seeking a quiet, relaxing holiday with some activities available for children. There are 150 level grassy touring pitches, some shaded, 120 with 16A Europlugs.

The campsite is set over extensive grounds, perfect for children to explore, run around, and let off some steam. There is also an outdoor swimming pool to splash around in and an activity and entertainment programme during July and August. Many of the facilities on site have been upgraded recently, including a modern reception with a shop and daily bread roll service. There is also a Children's play area and beach volleyball court. 
 

The many opportunities for excursions include the famous Baren and Nebel caves and the deepest lake in the world, the Blautopf. Visit one of the many castles within the area such as the Hohenzollern Castle and Lichtenstein Castle. Stuttgart and The designer outlet in Metzingen are also within easy reach of this campsite.
