Seasonova Îl De Ré
Camping at Seasonova Île de Ré, you are right by the beach when staying on this scenic site, just 200 metres from the sands of La Plage du Groc Jonc. Start your island day with a French breakfast using the handy croissant and pain au chocolat ordering service at reception before heading out to explore. Perhaps opt for a day on-site, lazing around the grounds and enjoying a spot of yoga. There is a bar to lounge around at, too – or you could bag up your supplies to take to the beach.
Seasonova Camping l’Etang des Bois
Seasonova Camping l'Étang des Bois is set in Vieilles-Maisons-sur-Joudry in rural Loiret on the banks of the eponymous lake in the middle of one of the largest forests in France. It’s a real back-to-nature sort of place, with a good dash of daily activity thrown in for outdoorsy families. The site is right next to a leisure centre on the Étang des Bois, where there is supervised swimming and water sports in high season. Other activities to keep you occupied and out in the fresh air include mölkky (Finnish throwing games), tree climbing, walking and cycling tracks through the forest – bike rental on site if you have left yours behind. You can also fish in the lake (permit required and sold on site) or challenge the children to a round of mini golf. 140 spacious pitches await you, 40 occupied by seasonal units, all with electric hook-ups 10amp and sheltered from the sun by mature oak trees. There are also 9 cottages and safari tents available to hire. Catering is taken care of too, with a snack bar for daytime top-ups to keep everybody happy.
Seasonova Camping les Mouettes
Les Mouettes is set back from the cliffs, with the pretty seaside resort of Veules-les-Roses below. It is a busy site, attracting many visitors en route from Dieppe. There are 167 pitches in total but many are occupied by mobile homes and seasonal caravans, leaving about 80 for touring, all with 6A electricity, and 21 for tents without electricity. They are level, grassy and divided by hedges, but have no shade. The narrow roads may cause difficulty for larger units. A special area for 16 motorhomes is by the entrance. The site is open for a longer season and may be useful for those travelling south for winter.
Seasonova Camping les 7 îles
Camping les 7 îles, located on the outskirts of the quiet village of Trélévern, is directly on a pebbly beach with a narrow, fine sandy beach at one end of the site. This section of the Breton coastline is famous for its magnificent rock formations by the sea and for the striking colour of the pink granite that positively glows in the sunset. Camping les 7 iles is a Seasonova site and you can be assured of a high standard whilst staying here. On-site, there are 145 touring pitches, of which 10 amp electric hook-up points are available. The site is level, the pitches are open plan and very generous, and all have views of the sea and the islands, and access is easy.
Seasonova Camping Étang de la Vallée
Slow the pace of life with a stay at Camping Étang de la Vallée, a nature-filled site on the banks of a Loiret lake in the Forest of Orléans.
Seasonova Les Portes d’Alsace
Seasonova Les Portes d’Alsace is a charming site on the southern edge of Saverne. It has a relaxed and quiet feel thanks to its grassy open spaces and mature trees, which shade the large pitches. There are 145 pitches, 129 being touring pitches with electric hook-up points. The site is adjacent to a riding school, with some pitches overlooking the outdoor schooling area. The facilities are immaculate and include a pool, play area and bicycle hire - there are some excellent cycling routes. A takeaway van visits three times a week, and activities are organised for children in high season.
Seasonova Camping du Chêne
Situated just east of the Nantes ring road, Camping du Chêne would make an ideal night halt. However, it would be a pity to push on as a very pleasant few days could be spent here. With the Loire river to the north and the Loire valley wine route to the south, there is no shortage of places to visit.
Seasonova Camping Etennemare
This comfortable, neat site is two kilometres from the picturesque harbour and town, 30 km. west of Dieppe. Quietly located, it has 116 pitches of which 49 are available for touring units. The grassy pitches are all on a slight slope, with electricity (6/10A), but there is very little shade. Reception is open all day in July and August, but in low season is closed 12.00-15.00 daily and all day Wednesday: there is a card-operated security barrier. Not far from Fécamp, with its Benedictine Distillery – indeed, the chalky cliffs along this coast were made famous by the many artists and sculptors who visited here in the late 1800s.
Seasonova Camping le Point du Jour
Camping le Point du Jour has a very French flavour and is an ideal location for family holidays as it has direct access to a beautiful sandy beach. It is becoming popular with British visitors who will receive a warm welcome from the owner and staff. There are around 40 pitches bordered by shrubs and hedging, including 30 occupied by mobile homes and chalets (ten for hire). There are some seasonal units, but most are removed for high season. All touring pitches have 10A electricity, including those on the sea-dyke, and 12 also have water and drainage. Fishing is possible from the beach, and small boats may be launched. Kite surfing is popular, and sailing and other watersports are possible further along the beach. Some noise in the evenings has recently been reported.
Seasonova Haliotis Mont Saint-Michel
The staff at this beautiful campsite offer a warm welcome to visitors. Situated on the edge of the little town of Pontorson, 9 km. from Mont Saint-Michel, the site has 152 pitches, including 118 for touring units. Most have 16A electricity and 24 really large pitches, some of which have water and drainage. Excellent private sanitary facilities are also available on 12 luxury pitches. The comfortable reception area incorporates a pleasant bar where breakfast is served. This opens onto the swimming pool terrace. The site is attractively laid out and includes a Japanese garden. Haliotis (which takes its name from a large shell) is next to the River Couesnon, and it is possible to walk, cycle and canoe along the river to Mont Saint-Michel, though an auberge at half-distance could provide a welcome break!
Seasonova Les Vosges du Nord
This is an attractively situated, inexpensive site, amidst the mountains and forests of northern Alsace, not far from the German border. There are good views over the valley to one side and the pretty village with trees sheltering the other. The circular internal road has pitches around the outside (139 for touring units, 15 for seasonal units, 39 accommodation units to rent), and space in the centre where there is a playground. The solar-heated swimming pool and children’s pool are of excellent quality. A Centre de Vacances provides a covered swimming pool, sauna and fitness room.
Seasonova Camping de Vittel
Camping de Vittel is part of a chain owned and run by the Seasonova group. It is located on the outskirts of the city of Vittel, famous for its thermal baths and swimming pools. The site is quiet and well shaded under the cover of trees. There are 77 numbered touring pitches on grass and divided by neat hedges, with 10A electricity (Europlug) available, and 12 mobile homes for hire. Overall, the site looks very well cared for. Many of the visitors are older people here for an active holiday (walking and biking) or to relax in the baths and pools in town.
Seasonova Camping de la Forêt
This is a beautiful rural site; as the name says, it is Camping in the Forrest. The location for those that love to return to nature could not be improved upon with forest walks and cycle tracks and a lake adjoining the site offering swimming and a selection of activities, including fishing and sailing, or you can sit in the bar/restaurant and enjoy your surroundings. Fresh locally baked bread and croissants can be ordered the evening before, and even a full continental breakfast can be ordered. The reception also stocks some basic provisions.
