Under the innovative and charming ownership of Raquel Rodrigeuz, wecamp Pirineos nestles in the Rio Ara valley, surrounded by the Pyrenees mountains. It is very pretty and thoughtfully planned to provide tranquillity and privacy. The generously sized, 204 grassy pitches (all with 10A electricity) have good shade from a variety of carefully planted trees and shrubs. A stone building houses the site’s reception, a social room with computer and excellent WiFi connection and shop. Adjacent is a good restaurant, bar and takeaway with a large terrace that has views over the site to the mountains. Activities and excursions in the surrounding area can be organised at the helpful, English speaking reception office.
wecamp Pirineos is very family orientated with a host of innovations introduced by Raquel including a new play area, horse riding in summer, a massage area near the swimming pool, concessionary rates at the nearby prestigious Barcelo Monasterio spa – and even the possibility of getting married here! The area itself offers a wide range of adventure sports along with the gentler pursuits of walking, cycling and birdwatching. Everything can be arranged via reception or at the nearby town of Ainsa which provides all shops and services.

Two modern sanitary blocks include accessible facilities. Laundry facilities. Fridge hire. Shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway (1/4-30/11). Swimming pools (1/5-25/10). Playground. Entertainment for children (high season). Pétanque. Guided tours and information about hiking, canyoning, rafting, climbing, mountain biking and caving. Bicycle hire. Library. Communal barbecue area. Under-cover meeting area. WiFi in some areas (free).
Directions to wecamp Pirineos
South of the Park Nacional de Ordesa, site is 50 km. from Jaca near Ainsa. From Ainsa travel northwest on N260 toward Boltaña (near 443 km. marker) and 1 km. from Boltaña turn south toward Margudgued. Site is well signed and is 1 km. along this road.
