Alan Rogers Review of Villaggio Turistico Le Mimose
Le Mimose is a quiet site away from the town centre, bordering the extensive and well kept shingle beach. There are 65 grassy or sandy pitches, all for touring, with electricity (6A). The touring pitches, scattered among the holiday apartments, are surrounded by hedges and mature trees giving good shade. Space may be a little tight in high season. The short walk to the beach is very pleasant – as is a stroll along the promenade. The site, with its bar and restaurant, are now open all year.
Unlike many local sites, Le Mimose is away from traffic noise and only the occasional train disturbs the peace. In season the site is busy and lively, but very tranquil at other times.

Two central toilet blocks with all necessary facilities, including Accessible facilities. Shop (1/6-30/9). Bar and restaurant. Takeaway (1/1-30/9). Swimming and paddling pools (1/6-12/9). Two children’s playgrounds. Sports facilities. Bicycle hire. Beach adjacent. ATM in reception. WiFi over site.
Directions to Villaggio Turistico Le Mimose
From SS16 Adriatico in Porto Sant’Elpidio follow well marked signs to site. Access through town difficult for large outfits (4 m. height and 3 m. width restrictions) and care is needed passing through the gate.
