Alan Rogers Review of Villaggio Turistico Camping Eden
As befits its name, Camping Eden has a fine setting overlooking the Gulf of Salò in the southwest corner of Lake Garda. It is a holiday village and the primary concern is a large range of mobile homes and chalets to rent. There are just 50 small touring pitches interspersed with this accommodation. However, the site is extremely steep and requires good mobility to access all facilities. It is not suitable for larger motorhomes and caravans due to very steep access roads with a real risk of grounding and a lack of space to manoeuvre. Many of the pitches have fine views across the lake. The site has its own private beach and there are also two swimming pools and a water slide.
Other amenities include a supermarket, a pizzeria/restaurant and various sports facilities. Excursions are organised in high season to Verona, Venice and other places of interest as far afield as Florence. Eden has an appealing garden-like appearance and its reception staff will be pleased to recommend various other places of interest such as those along the local gastronomic route. Nearby Salò is an interesting town and has many restaurants and shops, as well as night clubs and other entertainment. There is also a colourful weekly market. San Felice del Benaco is a smaller resort, overlooking the Isola del Garda, and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

Directions to Villaggio Turistico Camping Eden
San Felice is on the western side of Lake Garda. From A4 (Milan-Venice) autostrada, take the Desenzano exit and head north on the SS572 towards Salò. After 15 km. turn right towards San Felice del Benaco and follow local signs.
