Situated between lakes and mountains, Via Claudia lies on the banks of Lech Lake and is just a few minutes walk to a second smaller lake belonging to the site, Baderwäldle Lake, which is ideal for swimming with its pleasant warm moor water. As the campsite name suggests, Via Claudia Camping is on the ancient roman road which passes through the Alps, linking the Adriatic Sea with the River Danube. The site offers lodges, Finnish wooden huts, odd pods, vats and caravans for rent which sleep between one and five persons. A motorhome area (60 pitches) with full services is also open throughout the year.

Numerous lakes, waterfalls and cultural treasures are easily accessible from the campsite via an extensive network of paths for cyclists and walkers. Lechbruck am See is just 3 kilometres away where you will find typical rural inns serving local dishes. It is only 23 km. north of Fussen on the Austrian border and just 26 km. south of the fairytale castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau

Directions to Via Claudia Camping

Site is 21 km. from Füssen, north on B16 for 11 km. then right toward Steingaden/Lechbruck and shortly right onto St2059 for 6.7 km, left onto Flößerstraße, continue onto Schongauer Straße, turn right onto Lechwiesenstraße, slight right onto Via Claudia, keep right to stay on Via Claudia to site.
