Tyn y Mur Touring and Camping Park is the closest site to Abersoch in North Wales and is a superb family and couples only touring caravan and camping park. Situated on the hill overlooking Abersoch Bay, Hell’s Mouth and the mountains of Snowdonia (which frame Cardigan Bay), the panoramic views are truly breathtaking. Abersoch is a beautiful seaside village, and the surrounding area has so much to offer visitors. There are many blue-flag beaches and spectacular scenery to enjoy. But when that all gets too much, there are plenty of other things going on. There are several festivals and events that take place in the area and are worth searching out. The Llyn Peninsula is blessed with an enormous number of beautiful, sandy beaches which are perfect for water sports – whether you’re a keen sailor, surfer, windsurfer, or just enjoy splashing about in the sea or exploring rock pools, you will never tire of the choice of beaches on offer. The site has 81 grass pitches of which 27 are for touring units with 10 amp hook-up point. |
There are a multitude of alternative attractions for visitors to enjoy both on wet or sunny days. Whether it be an historic trip to Criccieth, Caernarfon or Harlech Castle or a journey by steam on the Ffestiniog or the Welsh Highland Railway, National Trust properties like Plas yn Rhiw; Portmeirion; the Lloyd George Museum or the lovely art gallery at Plas Glyn y Weddw.

Directions to Tyn-Y-Mur Touring & Camping Park
The site is just outside the village of Abersoch, near Pwllheli in North Wales. On entering Abersoch from Pwllheli on the A499, turn sharp right up the hill at Abersoch Land and Sea. Tyn-Y-Mur Touring and Camping Park is approximately half a mile on the left, shortly after you pass the sign for The View (formerly Five Degrees) on the left.
