Alan Rogers Review of Treloan Coastal Holidays

This is a lovely site situated on a cliff top on the Rosalind Peninsular, with direct access to a beach which is just a 10 minute walk (steep climb back though) and all pitches have sea views.

Upon entering the site, you will see reception on your left, which also houses the small camp shop which stocks a selection of local products; you are also only a three-minute walk from the village of Gerrans with its village shop and pub and just a 10-minute walk from the picturesque fishing village of Portscatho.

This site is open plan covering two fields on a slight slope towards the sea. Hardstanding pitches are available, and you will be told where the EHU and water points are. Then left to choose one of the 62 pitches to fit your needs; the site is very informal and reminded me of caravan/camping from a bygone age. Although facility blocks are spotless and fit for purpose.

Treloan is also directly on the ‘Cornish Coastal Path’, and backpackers are most welcome; it is also an excellent base to explore the path and the surrounding area; it is said the Rosalind Peninsular is one of the most beautiful areas in Cornwall.

So that you know, payment is by Bank Transfer/Cash/Cheque balance payable on arrival.
