This is an excellent tranquil, family run park and a friendly, helpful atmosphere prevails. The park’s development on the site of old brick kilns has resulted in land on varying levels. This provides areas of level, well drained pitches with many on hardstanding. There are 65 pitches in total, all with 16A electricity and 30 are fully serviced. A wide range of trees and shrubs provide shelter and are home for a variety of wildlife. There are garden areas, including a butterfly garden, and a conservation pond is the central feature. There is a large, comfortable bar area and restaurant open five days a week. A member of the Best of British group.

Drinking water is supplied by a 285 ft. bore and excellent roofed service areas provide water and waste disposal. As the park is only eight miles from the coast, it is ideally situated to explore north Norfolk. Strictly no arrivals before 13.30.

Very good heated toilet blocks provide very clean facilities. Baby room. Accessible sanitary facilities (Radar key). Laundry room. Motorhome services. Good shop with gas supplies. Bar/restaurant (5 days a week, April-Oct) and takeaway (July/Aug) with patio area outside. TV/games room. Giant chess. Small library. Fenced play area. Fishing. WiFi (charged). B&B also available. Caravan storage.

From Fakenham take A148 Cromer road northeast. After 6 miles, at Thursford, fork right on B1354 signed Melton Constable. In 0.4 miles, turn right to Barney, and then first left along a narrow country lane with passing places, for 0.5 miles.
