Steadings Park is a rural campsite bordering the Newbourne Spring Nature Reserve and the River Deben. This quiet retreat provides the perfect base for walkers and cyclists to explore the pleasant, rolling Suffolk countryside and coast. There are 90 pitches spread across 20 acres in five fields. The main touring field has spacious, flat pitches, 60 with 10-16A electricity on well drained ground. A further small sheltered field (5A electricity) for tents is conveniently located near the new sanitary block. A holiday home was installed in 2012 in a secluded garden area. Amenities here include a large dog walking field, a designated children’s ball games area and some pitches with barbecue pits overlooking a lake.

The park is in the heart of Suffolk and ideally located for exploring the local Heritage coastline to the east, through to the wetland Broads in the north. There are many walking and cycling paths to choose from leading you to villages where children can try crabbing or spend the day at Jimmy’s farm. For fishing enthusiasts there is a private fishery just a ten minute walk away and a lovely local village pub and restaurant nearby.

Heated sanitary block with open washbasins, free hot showers and accessible wet room (key access). Family shower room. Washing machine and dryer. Fridge/freezer available. Shop. Two play areas. Dog walking area. WiFi over site (charged). Club rallies are welcome.

Directions to Steadings Park Camping and Caravan Site

From A14 travelling west take exit 58 signed A12N, Woodbridge. Continue along A12 and at roundabout take third exit towards Newbourne. After 800 yds. turn right, signed Fox Inn and Katie’s Garden, then follow signs to park.
