Roundhill Camping in the Forest site is a picturesque setting with expansive open areas, a lake and quiet secluded areas amongst ferns and trees. Its incredible forest surroundings are just waiting to be explored with the paths that cross the site, taking you through impressive heathlands, around a beautiful pond and in between trees. You have plenty of pitches to choose from; whether you go for a quiet spot hugged by majestic pines or for a more open space, you will be spoilt by wonderful views dotted with the famous New Forest ponies that roam freely. The site has 600 grass pitches (some seasonal) without electric hook-up point.
Once you have had your fix of on-site exploration, taking in all the site has to offer, you have plenty of options for day trips with Roundhill site as your base. Wander right into the heart of the forest, with its heathlands and grand oaks straight from the site. The New Forest Cycle route offers miles of cycle tracks, and walkers are catered for with a plentiful choice of routes to follow. Beyond the tracks there are plenty of villages to visit. Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst and Beaulieu all just a drive away, or a cycle ride through the forest. Each of these offers a unique take on the traditional English village and all offer incredible eateries, drinking establishments and independent shops.
