Being in a tranquil location, there is an abundance of wildlife on the park, including rabbits, squirrels, a wide variety of birds and even the occasional fox and badger. Do not be surprised to see ducks enjoying a swim in your water butt or a kingfisher on the River Laver. Many excursions can be made from the site – the Yorkshire Dales of Nidderdale, Wharfedale, Wensleydale and Swaledale are all within easy reach. Ripon is lined with fascinating museums and galleries and independent shops and tearooms, all offering amazing friendly service. Each of the 10 touring pitches are serviced with a fresh-water point, grey waste drain, 16 amp electric hook-up and TV point. There are also 100 mobile homes on site.

The site is situated on the B6265 approximately half a mile from Ripon centre. It is easily accessible from the A1 (exit at junction 48 if travelling from the South or junction 50 if approaching from the North) and the A59 if travelling East or West.
