Alan Rogers Review of Piccadilly Caravan Park
Piccadilly Caravan Park is set in open countryside close to several attractions, notably Longleat, Bath, Salisbury Plain, Stourhead, and the picturesque village of Lacock itself. You will receive a warm welcome from the owner at this small, quiet family-owned park that has been beautifully landscaped and tended for over 30 years.
The Well kept shrubs, flowers and trees have been landscaped to provide three separate areas and create a very pleasant ambience. There are 45 well-spaced, clearly marked pitches, 12 of which have hardstanding, and 42 have electricity (10A). Two areas have been made available for tents. A bus service runs from Lacock village to Chippenham (entry to the Chippenham Museum and Heritage Centre is free of charge).
Make the most of your visit by exploring this beautiful part of Wiltshire by visiting Lackock Abbey which is located at the heart of the village. As well as the Abbey there are several tea rooms, pubs and independent shops to enjoy in the village of Lacock.
Facilities at Piccadilly Caravan Park
Two heated toilet blocks are well maintained and equipped. Laundry room. Ice pack service. Playground and a large, grass ball play area. Limited gas supplies. Newspapers can be ordered. WiFi (free).
