Park-Camping Lindau am See is a large site with 330 pitches (270 for tourers) in the most southern point of Bavaria, on the banks of the Bodensee and just a few kilometres from the Austrian border. Under enthusiastic, young ownership, the site has level, marked and numbered pitches (85 with 10A electricity, water and drain) on grass and gravel with tarmac access roads. Some pitches have shade from mature trees, others are more open, and there are good views over the Bodensee. There is a separate area for tents and 12 overnight pitches outside the barrier.

The owners state that they like to stay in touch with nature and try to pollute as little as possible. The site is close to centre of Lindau, which in high season is a bustling lakeside resort with numerous possibilities for outings. It is not far from the German Alpine Road, the Austrian Vorarlberg and Switzerland and the small kingdom of Liechtenstein. At the lake is a small kiosk and the site has a full supermarket, with welcoming bar and restaurant. In high season, functions are organised on the beach with a barbecue. A railway runs along the back of the site.

Free, controllable hot showers, washbasins (open style and in cabins), special children’s section, family showers, baby room and accessible facilities. Laundry. Full supermarket. Restaurant with bar.
