Panorama Harras is a popular, friendly site on a small, wooded peninsula by the Chiemsee, with good views to the mountains across the lake. With some near the lake, the pitches vary in size (40-70 sq.m) and most have electricity (6A). There are some 200 numbered pitches marked by trees, but with no hedges, the site can look and feel crowded at busy times. A separate, numbered section of gravel hardstandings is provided for motorhomes, and an area for tents on grass and gravel. Sailing and windsurfing are very popular here and you can swim from the shingle beach.

It is also a useful base for exploring this attractive area, with boat trips to the Herrenchiemsee island with its castle, cycle trips and mountains to walk in.

Toilet facilities include family shower rooms with washbasin and toilet. Pushbutton showers need a token. Baby room. Launderette. Good accessible unit. Well stocked shop. Restaurant with bar and takeaway (all open for the whole season). Beach and small boat launch access from site.

Directions to Panorama Camping Harras

Site is 20 km. east of Rosenheim. From A8/E52 take exit 106 (Bernau) then north towards Prien. After 3 km, at the roundabout, turn east towards Harras (and Kreiskrankenhaus) following site signs.
