This is a small, unspoiled family run site set among the mountains in the Pitztal. It is an ideal base for walks in the Tirolean mountains and for mountain bike tours on the numerous paths through the woods and on the Schotterpiste and Wildspitze, the highest mountain in the Tirol. Each of the 38 open plan pitches has 13A electricity, water, waste water and gas points. The pitches are laid out on level, rectangular fields on a grass and gravel base, with gravel access roads. There are beautiful views of the mountains on all sides and an alpine stream feeds the lake and fish ponds.

To one end of the site is a welcoming restaurant with covered terrace for meals and drinks with views of the swimming and fishing ponds. To the front of the site is an area for beach volleyball with opportunities for basketball and a skate ramp as well. The restaurant serves fresh fish daily and walking and cycling tours are organised. A free shuttle bus runs from the site gate to the ski slopes.

The centrally located toilet block (heated) with toilets, washbasins (open style and in cabins) and free, controllable hot showers. Bathroom. Washing machine. Dryer. Bar/restaurant with takeaway and covered terrace (closed May and Nov). Fishing. Skate ramp. Swimming pond with small beach. Full activity programme for all in high season. WiFi over site (charged).

From the A12, take exit 132 at Imst and continue south to Arzl and Wenns; continue toward St. Leonhard. Site is signed to the right 4 km. south of Wenns. (Important: set sat nav to Wenns not Jerzens).
