The Ginkelduin estate is located within the woods of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. The park extends over 95 ha. and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty consisting of woodland, moors and drifting sands. The car-free estate includes this high quality campsite, a member of the Molecaten group, with generously sized pitches (225 for touring with 10A electricity) fringed with mature trees. There is plenty here for children, including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a large football pitch and a special ten-pin bowling area. A number of fully equipped tents, apartments and bungalows are to rent.

The Utrechtse Heuvelrug has a royal heritage with magnificent gardens and castles. The nearby historic cities of Amersfoort and Utrecht, although maybe less well known, have a great deal of interest and are both important cultural and culinary centres. Miles of cycle paths criss-cross the area and cycle hire is available on site. The managers will be pleased to recommend possible routes.

From A12 motorway exit 22 follow signs to Woudenberg, Leersum and Maarsbergen. Continue on N225 as far as Leersum. After 1 km. turn left on Bentincklaan. Site is well signed from here.
