This is an ideal family site set in woodland with free access to one of Holland’s most popular water parks, Splesj. Of the 800 pitches, 220 fully serviced pitches are for tourers; they are level, grassy, and mostly set in areas surrounded by mature trees with some hedge separation between pitches. There is a good restaurant with takeaway food and numerous play areas and a sports field there are plenty of activities for children if you can get them out of the water park complex. Off-site there are over 1,000 km. of paths and cycle tracks in the region.

Holland has plenty of interesting places to visit and only 5 km. north west of the campsite, in the village of Oudenbosch, is a replica of Saint Peter’s church in Rome! It took 25 years to build, is a little smaller than the original, but extremely impressive. Within the region there are plenty of other things to see and do and getting around in Holland is easy with its efficient autobahn network backed up by good main and country roads. In addition, being almost without hills it is a cyclists’ paradise and full use should be made of the information and helpful advice available in reception.

From Breda on A58 take exit 20 signed to Industrieterrein Nijverhei St Willebrord. Turn right onto Heistraat, back towards motorway, and after 1.5 km. take third exit onto Bovenstraat. Turn right onto Oude Antwerpsepostbaan. Site is well signed from here.
