Macugnaga Natural Camping offers a tranquil escape at the foot of the majestic Monte Rosa. Renowned as one of the Ossola Valley's seven wonders, this picturesque region is famous for its stunning mountain vistas. Whether you're seeking winter or summer adventures, Macugnaga has something to offer for everyone staying here. The campsite itself provides a comfortable and welcoming environment. The reception, housed in a traditional Italian building, provides a warm greeting for guests. On-site, there are 50 touring itches of, which have 6-amp electric hook-up points available. The tent pitches are spacious; however, the Touring pitches are smaller and not delimited. 

Facilities on-site include a playground for children, a ping pong table, and a jeu de boules court. Enjoy the scenic views of the Anza River, which runs adjacent to the playground and originates from the Monte Rosa glacier. Guests have access to the campsite kitchen garden, where you are able to pick herbs and fresh vegetables for your dinner. While the sanitary block may appear a bit dated but they are well-maintained and offer clean, functional facilities. Quench your thirst after a day of exploring at the campsite bar, and enjoy a convenient 15-minute walk to the nearest supermarket. For summer enthusiasts, Macugnaga offers a haven for outdoor activities. Hike through the scenic trails of Monte Rosa and explore the surrounding countryside on a bicycle, which can be hired from the campsite. For winter enthusiasts, plenty of skiing and snowboarding opportunities are nearby. Walk down to the cable cars that will take you up into the mountains (there’s one 15-minute’ walk away and another 45 minute’ walk away) 

Discover the local flavours at nearby restaurants and cafés, where you can enjoy a discounted meal thanks to the campsite's partnerships. For a more adventurous outing, embark on a scenic walk to the Lago delle Fate, a charming lake surrounded by woodlands and is steeped in local folklore stories.
