An outdoor enthusiast’s paradise, this campsite is set among the pine forests of the Sierra de Enguera mountains about 1 hour from Valencia and 100 km from the famous beaches of Gandia. You’ll find a relaxed, idyllic setting and a campsite that is a peaceful enclave, well away from the high season bustle of the coast.
The surrounding countryside is rugged and relatively remote and you are well placed for hiking and mountain biking amid unspoilt frontier-type scenery, with plenty of wildlife on your doorstep. The 12 km Ruta del Agua trail leads you beside cascading streams through the gorgeous surroundings of the Sierra de Enguera nature reserve while the Sierra Mariola national park offers incredible dramatic scenery and mesmerising views. The site has a swimming pool (wonderful views included!), popular café-restaurant and a high season entertainments programme. Navalón is the nearest village (3 km) and has basic amenities, with more in Enguera village, 30 minutes away. Plan in some day trips to the fabulous beaches and be sure to visit Valencia, one of Spain’s most impressive and cosmopolitan cities.
