This is a very small, quiet, peaceful campsite of only 20 level, grassy pitches, 16 with electricity (16A), laid out in a farmyard orchard. It is near the small village of Brezje which is situated in the Alpine area of north-west Slovenia, not far from the Austrian and Italian borders and only 30 minutes’ drive from the large town of Ljubljana. Brezje has a large Basilica, which is a major centre for pilgrimage and there is a hop-on tourist bus, in July and August, that tours the area and visits Lake Bled. The site entrance is not suitable for larger units.

The campsite makes a good base for exploring the nearby Alpine resorts and the beautiful mountains are within easy reach. They offer a wide range of pursuits for the more active. The region is also well known for its many walking and cycle routes ranging from easy to very difficult.

Facilities at Hribar Tourist Farm Camping

A new central sanitary building with four showers, four basins and one urinal. In a separate block there are four new toilets and two basins with hot water. Accessible facilities. Washing machine. Table and chairs for campers. Waste disposal for motorhomes. Camp fires. Free WiFi throughout.

Directions to Hribar Tourist Farm Camping

From the junction of the A1 and A2 motorways southwest of Ljubljana take A2 north for almost 50 km. Take exit 5 then follow signs for Brezje. In village keep to right passing large car park (on left after 100 m) and fire station (on right at end of road). Take road to the right and continue for 40 m. past a sign ‘Hribar-Brezje 14’, to the Camping sign.
