The welcome is always warm from the friendly, family owners at this delightful eight-acre park. Situated only five miles from Cambridge, yet in a wonderfully quiet touring location, it is close to major routes around the city.

The pitches are fairly level with 60 numbered pitches for caravans and motorhomes, 42 with hardstanding, and 60 for tents. All have 10A electricity. The facilities are of high quality and the grass and hedges are well cared for. Conifer hedges divide the site into five areas. There are also some shady glades for those who wish to retreat even further, and one area is reserved for those without children. A good dog walk is provided, which can be extended to a pleasant 1.5-mile walk, with seats, around the farm perimeter.

The site is a very good base for visiting the famous university town of Cambridge and a walking tour around the town exploring the colleges is highly recommended. The town can be accessed by car (park and ride recommended), by bus or by bike via a special cycle route.

Facilities at Highfield Farm Touring Park

Three heated toilet blocks provide good facilities, all very clean and well maintained. No dedicated provision for visitors with accessible needs, although one block has extra wide doors and easy access. Laundry room. Motorhome services. Shop. Gates closed 23.00-07.30.

Directions to Highfield Farm Touring Park

From M11 exit 12, take A603 towards Sandy. After 0.5 miles turn right, B1046 to Comberton. Turn right just before village signed Madingley (also caravan sign). Site on right just north of village.
