Green Village Assisi is an excellent site situated on the west side of Assisi and provides a green environment and tranquillity. Situated on a 30.000 Sqm green area of pinewood forest, it is a good base to visit both Saint Francis’ city, only 3.5 km away, and nearby Perugia and Lake Trasimeno. The flat grassy pitches, with 6A electricity, vary in size and some are specifically for motorhomes overlooking the hills to Assisi. It can be very hot in this part of Italy, and a welcome relief is a large pool and shady pitches. The excellent restaurant serves reasonably priced meals, ranging from pizzas to local Umbrian dishes. A large terrace can be completely enclosed. A daily shuttle bus service is available to the city, which is lit up in the evenings, providing a beautiful backdrop from some areas of the site. An ideal place for families with children to enjoy safely the spacious playground and swimming pool.

A fenced area dedicated to dogs is at disposal. Inside the village, you will also find a wine bar and a mini market. Free Wifi is available throughout. Assisi boasts a fine cathedral, among many other attractions, and a stay in this area should not be cut too short. The site organises many tours in the area for individuals and groups including artistic, religious, wine, food, archaeological and nature.

The neat and clean toilet block is central and provides free hot showers, mainly squat style WCs (only four British style in each block) and accessible facilities. Washing machine. Gas supplies. Motorhome services. Campers’ kitchen. Restaurant/pizzeria with self-service section. Bar with snacks. Shop. Swimming pool, jacuzzi and circular paddling pool (1/6-5/9, charged, caps mandatory). Bicycle hire. Tennis. Five-a-side. Volleyball. No charcoal barbecues on pitches. Communal barbecue. WiFi throughout (free).

Directions to Green Village Assisi

From the SS75 take the exit for Ospedalicchio Sud and follow the SS147 towards Assisi for 5 km. The site is well signed on the right.
