Gofree, an unusual name for a campsite, is owned by Patrizia Laurent. She will be pleased to welcome you to this site which is primarily an alpine chalet village. It is open all year for touring and the supporting facilities are of a high quality for all to enjoy. It is one of the very few camping sites hereabouts. The 40 undefined pitches with 10A electricity are sited in three separate, level areas close to the site entrance. Tents are placed in a separate area. A two storey modern building houses reception, a good restaurant and a bar which are at your disposal all year.

Everything here is modern and neat, and looked very well maintained when we visited. You will also get a chance to practice your Italian with the many Italian families who occupy the bungalows. We recommend this as a stopover or to be used in the winter for skiing.

One modern, well appointed, very clean sanitary block. British style WCs. Basic accessible facilities. Washing machines. Two special bungalows for hire, adapted for visitors with disabilities. Pleasant bar, restaurant/pizzeria and takeaway (July/Aug, Dec-March). Small play area. Regular bus service at gate. Electric barbecues permitted. WiFi in bar area. Ski chalets for hire.

Directions to Gofree Villaggio Touristico Camping

Site is west of Torino and southeast of the Fréjus tunnel exit. From A32 take S24 towards Sestriere. Pass Sestriere and head east for Torino on the R23. Site is 8 km. along this road just past the village of Pragelato and well signed.
