Klosterneuburg lies just to the north of Vienna on the Danube. It is outside the city boundary, away from the noise and bustle of the famous city but only minutes away by train. Owned and run by the Austrian Motor Club (OAMTC), this site is in a park-like situation, surrounded by trees but with little shade. The 100 pitches are on the small side. However, all are accessed from hard roads, and all have 6A electricity. Alongside the site is Happyland, an amusement park with a large swimming pool (discounts for campers).

This is a good spot for families with the glories of historic Vienna easily reached and Happyland for the children. Donaupark Camping is only a few hundred metres from the river, a walk away from Klosterneuburg, its well-known Baroque abbey, and the Wienerwald.

Two modern sanitary units, one at reception and the other by the pitches (may be under pressure when busy). Accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Washing machines and dryer. Electric cooking rings. Freezer for ice packs. Restaurant/snack bar incl. small shop for basics (High season). Play area. Bicycle hire. WiFi (free).

Leave Vienna on the west bank of the Danube following signs for Klosterneuburg, site is signed in the town from the main road B14 and is 400 m. behind the railway station.
