Set alongside the beautiful Adriatic coast with its long, soft sand beaches, this site has 270 pitches, all with 6A electricity, 200 with water and waste water. The site is aimed at families, and the swimming pools, play areas and entertainment programme will keep everyone busy. The atmosphere is lively and the management do their utmost to keep everyone happy. There is a self-service restaurant and a lovely bar/café on the beach, with a gelateria and superb miniclub. A novel feature is the American-style grill bar serving mouth watering food.

The friendly staff speak English and are keen to help. Fun options for campers are even greater when visiting the sister site, Camping Holiday (IT68010), with its excellent facilities. You will experience true Italian-style camping here, and there was much laughter in the air when we visited.

Four traditional units are kept clean and provide a mixture of British and squat sanitary facilities. There are new units with accessible facilities. Washing machine. Motorhome services. Snack bar. Beach bar. Swimming pools with slides and whirlpool (caps compulsory). Wheelchair users have special access to the pools and beach. Entertainment for families. Bicycle hire. Torches useful. Dogs are not accepted 1/7-26/8 and never in accommodation units. WiFi (free 2 hours on arrival, then charged).

Directions to Don Antonio Camping Residence

Leave autostrada A14 north of Pescara and take SS80 to Giulianova Lido. Follow numerous site signs on coast road. Take care to find tunnel under railway with a 3.6 m. clearance (north of town). All other bridges have ‘car only’ 2.3 m. clearance, so do not use sat nav. Site is 400 m. from tunnel.
