Camping del Garda is directly on the lake with access through gates that provide security at night. This is one of the largest campsites around Lake Garda and is more of a self-contained holiday village with many pitches used by tour operators and permanent units. However, they are generally separate from the touring pitches. The mature trees provide shade for the 659 grass pitches, of which 337 are for touring units. Arranged in numbered rows, all have 4A electrical connections, and hedges have been cleverly trimmed for maximum attractiveness. Hard roads give access. This is a well-kept site with colour added by attractive flower beds.

There is a very active entertainment programme for all ages and two good swimming pools with lifeguards throughout the season. A vast range of sports activities, including watersports, is available, and boat enthusiasts have boat launching close by. The picturesque little town of Peschiera is 1 km. Over the multiple bridges and the busy waterfront has pretty bars and restaurants.

Eleven good quality toilet blocks have the usual facilities with free hot water in sinks, washbasins and showers. Accessible Facilities in two blocks. Washing machines and dryers. Bars, restaurant and takeaway. Supermarket. Swimming pools. Tennis courts and tennis school. Minigolf. Watersports including windsurf school. Fishing. Playground. Full programme of organised activities in high season. Bowls. motorcycles are not accepted. WiFi in some areas (charged).

Directions to Del Garda Village and Camping

Leave the A4 (Milan-Venice) at Peschiera exit and travel through the town towards Garda. Follow signs for Lasize on SS249. After 500 m. turn left at Famila supermarket roundabout where site is signed.
